At NOVARE, we are proud to have played a pivotal role in developing the Praxis Center in uptown Butte, Montana. The Praxis Center is set to become the nation’s first healthcare simulation training center explicitly dedicated to the unique needs of rural healthcare practitioners across North America.
The Praxis Center: A State-of-the-Art Facility
This $35 million, 35,000 square-foot facility is designed to function as a fully simulated hospital and clinic, capable of accommodating any healthcare training scenario. By providing a realistic training environment, the Praxis Center ensures that rural healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, mid-level providers, ultrasonographers, EMS, and U.S. Military medical personnel, receive the highest quality training tailored to their specific challenges and requirements.
A Commitment to Excellence in Rural Healthcare
The Praxis Center was founded by the National Center for Health Care Informatics (NCHCI), a Montana non-profit corporation established in 2004. NCHCI brings extensive experience in healthcare simulation and health information technology to this groundbreaking project. With a history of multi-phase, multi-year contracts with USAF Special Operations Command to develop advanced simulation training technologies, NCHCI is dedicated to improving the quality, safety, affordability, and efficiency of the U.S. healthcare system.
